We endeavour to dispatch all orders we recieve in three to four working days (unless stated otherwise) with processing generally being completed on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Exceptions to the above may include adoption packages, particularly if the animal is being adopted for the first time or was last adopted over three months ago. In these situations, the package may take up to one week from the date of purchase to be processed.
Please note that as we are generally closed on Mondays, any orders placed on weekends will usually begin processing at the earliest possible opportunity from Tuesday onwards.
Your order details will be updated once your order has been dispatched. If you are picking up your item from our store, you will be notified when it is ready to collect.
Delivery Times & Postage Charges
All items purchased via the online shop will be delivered via Royal Mail services.
Products that are deliverable in a letter or large letter format will be sent First Class for delivery within the next working day.
Products that are deliverable in a small parcel format (or larger) will be sent Second Class for delivery within two-to-three working days.
All charges are calculated based on an item's size and weight relative to its corresponding Royal Mail parcel format (as detailed above.) Bulkier items are therefore more cost effective when purchased as part of a larger order. Occasionally, we may offer free postage for orders over a fixed value.
You will always be offered the option of collecting your order for no additional cost from our gift shop, located at Baytree Owl & Wildlife Centre, High Road, Weston, Spalding, PE12 6JU
We cannot be held responsible for disruption to delivery caused by industrial disputes or action outside our direct control. However, if such disruption occurs you will be offered delivery via an alternative delivery or fulfilment company or a full refund.
Out of Stock Fulfilment Procedure
Although we endeavour to keep stocking information correct, on rare occassions a product ordered from the website may be out of stock. This is because online stock levels are shared with our physical gift shop and updated retrospectively.
In these instances, we may dispatch products at a later date (up to 28 days after purchase) when the requested product is back in stock.
Some items, such as certain photo gifts, will be made to order under similar conditions. You will be notified at this stage of any expected changes to item availability or delivery times, as well as the option of a full refund instead of delivery of the product.
Ordering from Outside the UK
If you are ordering a product from outside the UK the recipient of the product is responsible for all customs duties or tariffs incurred in the country to which the products are shipped. Furthermore your order may be subject to delay or be opened and searched by local customs authorities when entering the destination country. Please note we are unable to provide specific advice on customs duties or tariffs.
When delivery is outside the mainland UK it may sometimes be necessary to charge additional shipping. Customers will always be contacted and offered the choice of cancellation.
